First English Version of Granado Espada Ready in May
The First English Version of Hakkyu Kim's Latest Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, Granado Espada, Will Be available for Gamers in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand on May 17th. Since April 2006, Infocomm Asia Holdings (IAH), the operator for the game, has been hard at work localizing the hit Korean game. While the commercial release of the game is slated for later this year, IAH has decided to have a Pre-Open Beta Test where the game will be free to play for all avid online gamers. The Singaporean company has pulled out all stops in their effort to localize Kim's latest vision, which won the top prize in the 2006 Korean Game Awards, the Presidential Award for the Best Game of 2006, as well as clinching a prize for Best Graphics.

The Irish Independent reports that the greater Dublin region got the lion's share of new hotels opened in 2006 and will also feature strongly when the 2007 figures are collated by Filte Ireland. The Dublin Airport region alone accounted for over 16pc of the new hotel rooms opened in 2006 with 900 of the 5,500 bedrooms as the capital accounted for 21pc of the total. On top of this there were 1,137 new bedrooms opened in Cos Meath and Kildare. "Dublin Airport has experienced major hotel development in 2006. "New hotels in the area include Days Hotel, Bewleys, Holiday Inn Express, Carlton and Ballymun Plaza adding almost 900 rooms," according to Filte Ireland. The Dublin region accounted for 21pc of all new hotel rooms opened last year.

Larry Young is on another promotional blitz, it seems, as he is sending copies of Giant Robot Warriors out to various people. I always like getting stuff from Larry in the mail. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Giant Robot Warriors is written by Stuart Moore and drawn by Ryan Kelly. It's published, obviously, by AiT/Planet Lar, originally appeared in 2003, and costs $12.95. Larry is pushing it, presumably, because of Kelly's higher profile now that he's working on Local. Is Local all that high-profile, though? Either way, it's a chance to see Kelly's art in between the somewhat lengthy appearances of Local.
EECH 2: Details Revealed and Official Site Launched
G2 Games have today released new details about Enemy Engaged 2 - sequel to the best selling chopper classic - Enemy Engaged: RAH-66 Comanche Versus Ka-52 Hokum. The publisher has today confirmed that the finished game will feature Voice Control elements that use a microphone attached to the PC. Enemy Engaged 2 players will be able to issue vocal commands to their AI wingmen during combat missions. The commands will include setting up defensive or offensive flight formations, attacking or defending targets, heading to waypoints and many more. Using voice control in the missions will add a whole new dimension to the experience of Enemy Engaged 2 and a level of interactivity second to none for a flight simulation. G2 have also confirmed that Enemy Engaged 2 will also support TrackIR software technology and hardware.
