Wii Launched Full Version Of Opera Web Browser
Opera Software and Nintendo have finally launched the full version of the Opera web browser for the Internet Channel of the Wii game console. The download is free, but not for long. This web browser allows Wii owners to browse the internet through the console on their television, provided the console is connected to the internet, of course. Some new features of the full version of the Opera browser revolve around usability with zoom and scrolling functions that were not present in the trial version that was launched in December. The application allows you to choose from Google or Yahoo for a default search engine, but like any browser you can navigate to any web page and search engine. Navigation is handled through the Wii remote (please be careful), and two remotes can be used at the same time to point and navigate the web.

What if Magic had just shot average at line?
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Magic had the game in their hands. Too bad they were holding it 15 feet from the basket with nobody guarding them. That meant they were at the free-throw line, which meant only one thing Saturday night. They had as much chance of making it as Alec Baldwin does of being named father of the year. "I think if we'd have made our free throws, we would have been right in the game," Dwight Howard said. He should know. In his first playoff game, Howard almost had the rarest of triple doubles: 13 points, 19 rebounds and eight missed free throws. Two more, and they would have sent the game ball to the Hall of Fame. If you went strictly by the math, the Magic actually would have won the game if they had made their free throws.
GFW Live: Worth Gamers' Money and Devs' Support?
Xbox Live offers unified friend lists, universal voice chat, quality control and anti-cheat protection, along with access to "achievements," virtual certificates awarded for completing in-game challenges. This March, Microsoft asked PC gamers to get with the online gaming network program. MS reps say their reasoning is twofold: connect Xbox 360 and PC gaming communities, and enhance the online experience for PC gamers. Registered Xbox Live Gold members (see sidebar) automatically receive Games for Windows Live privileges at no additional cost -- input their existing gamertags, and off they go. Everyone else either signs up for the feature-light but free Silver package or pays a $49.95 annual premium for Gold. That is, of course, if they can be convinced to try it at all. In its June issue, Games for Windows: The Official Magazine asks Games for Windows and Xbox boss Peter Moore and Live general manager J.J.
Xbox Live Arcade Review: Luxor 2
Mixing up the Zuma formula enough to become its own game, Luxor 2 becomes as addictive, engaging, and as fun as the game it borrows many of its mechanics from. Gameplay mechanics wisely craft means of avoiding repetition, and the simple concept of joining colored balls together is still way more fun than it should be. Luxor reigns high amongst the numerous puzzle games on the 360. Taking a small cue from Breakout, Luxor has players controlling a small colored-ball shooting platform that can only move horizontally. Additional colored balls roll in from various directions, and it’s up to the player to eliminate them by matching at least three of the same color. As levels progress, more colors heighten the challenge, along with a speed increase. If any of the balls hit the pyramid (or pyramids in later stages), you’ll lose.Early levels provide an excellent entry point, and slowly increasing challenge is properly paced.
